RESERVATIONS & PAYMENT TERMS: To obtain a puppy of the highest standards, tailored to your requirements, it is common to reserve a puppy in-utero. A $200 deposit is required to reserve your pick, from specific parents, when the puppies are born. Should no puppy be living at eight weeks of age, you may choose to have your deposit returned, apply your deposit to the next available litter, or choose a substitute puppy from an existing litter.
While cash payment is preferred, terms may be arranged for puppies purchased before they are 8 weeks of age, under the following terms. A finance charge of 5% of the purchase price will apply. Payment may be made with a 25% unrefundable deposit, and the balance to be paid in full before the puppy is shipped. If payment is delayed beyond the first available shipping date, or there is a delay requested by the buyer after the puppy is 8 weeks of age, a board fee may apply. The deposit may only be returned if the puppy is undeliverable due to illness or death.
GUARANTEE: Our puppies are guaranteed to arrive in good health, and will arrive with a veterinarian certified health certificate made shortly before departure. The buyer then has 48 hours after arrival to have the dog re-examined by a licensed veterinarian, should there be a question in their condition.
Puppies are also guaranteed for one year against against any inherent, congenital defects, verified by a licensed veterinarian.
Wishpaw also guarantees that your puppy or dog can be certified by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals. This certification cannot be performed before the age of two years when the hips are mature, but must be performed within 6 months after their second birthday. The dog must not have been bred prior to this certification, to qualify for this guarantee.
We agree to replace any defective puppy or dog, under the above conditions. However, we will, under NO circumstances, replace a puppy or dog that has been euthanized until we have first spoken with the treating veterinarian; received a written recommendation from a state certified veterinarian; agreed with the procedure; and agreed to the replacement before they are euthanized.
We will not replace a puppy that has been outside of our control over 48 hours or over 48 hours after their arrival by air, at a new destination. This applies to death or illness due to an accident, contagious disease, or other problems contracted after leaving our control. If you have any questions whatsoever regarding the health of your new dog, you must get verification by a state licensed veterinarian, dated within 48 hours, that the dog was ill upon arrival.
SHIPPING: Although picking up your puppy from the kennel is best for your dog and all concerned, shipping by air is possible. All shipping costs are at the expense of the purchaser and in compliance with all restrictions and/or guidelines established by the commercial carrier for the shipment of live animals. We favor airlines which provides for the comfort and safety of the puppy - minimizing the flight time, as well as the time between flights and, thus the time spent in transit. Shipping costs within the continental United States includes airfare, a shipping crate and health certificate. WE WILL NOT SHIP "FREIGHT" or "CARGO". Puppies are shipped immediately FOLLOWING the date the puppies reach 8 weeks of age. Puppies or dogs over the age of 8 weeks will be shipped as soon as possible, after purchase.
