Riding SHAHB EL SHIRAZ,
for owner Margit Krellwitz, in his first endurance race, they
placed 3rd out of 28 horses,
and 3rd of Best Conditioned! SHIRAZ is a black, straight Egyptian
gelding.
One region has become known as a center for the Egyptian Arabian horse,
due to the large population of breeders in this relatively small
community.
That region is the Ouachita Mountain Valley in and around Mena,
Arkansas.
Both large and small farms
are homes for world class Egyptian Arabian Horses, from a variety
of bloodlines. Horses from these farms are shipped all over the
world to join the leading
stables of Kings, rulers, and statesmen, as well as for families, and
enthusiastic lovers
of the breed here and in all corners of the world.
