| In a recent study, the effects of semen shipments being sent with Equine Semen Transporters and their competition were compared. The International Safe Transport Association (ISTA) summer and winter protocols were performed by ISC, Inc., which was formed in 1982 with the mission of finding the most effective solutions for packaging of temperature sensitive products. ISC's state-of-the-art thermal testing lab allow skilled technicians to perform a wide range of temperature tests. Their laboratory features multiple environmental chambers that can simulate a range of ambient temperatures under ISTA summer and winter protocols. These protocols show cyclic freeze and heat profiles used to simulate extremes of winter and summer transport conditions. |
